As the humble desktop PC has increased in power, and the Internet has become faster e-Learning has become a feasible option for delivery of 'On Demand' training. Alternatively e-learning solutions are often used where it may be difficult for a Trainer to regularly visit. At Training IT we believe that e-learning should be part of a training solution, and not the solution, this approach is commonly known as a 'blended training' environment.
E-learning solutions developed by Training IT fall into two distinct categories - those that are designed to be run by the end user in a 'stand-alone' manner, or e-Learning that is delivered via a Learning Management System (LMS). Either solution will allow the user to follow the lessons, and may involve watching the demos, using interactive tools or watching recorded videos. Additionally the user may choose to undertake an Assessment - which may involved performing a specific task in the interactive environment, or undertaking a Quiz. The results of any Assessments can then be delivered to the Training Coordinator, HR Dept. etc for review after which further tasks might then be allocated.
At Training IT we use Adobe Captivate, in conjunction with other tools such as Flash, Microsoft PowerPoint to produce e-Learning Tools to your specific needs, either as the sole Training Method, or as part of a 'Blended Training' approach.
